Divisions & Teams

T-Ball

  • For players league ages 4-6
  • Instructional program where children are taught the fundamentals of hitting, running, fielding and throwing in a fun environment
  • Players either hit off a tee or are pitched to by a coach
  • May be played on a 50′ or 60′ diamond

Minor A

  • For players league ages 6-8
  • Instructional program that builds on the fundamentals learned in tee-ball
  • “Machine/Coach pitched"
  • Allow less experienced players an opportunity to gain more experience before advancing to the next level of the minor division
  • Played on a 60′ diamond with a 46′ pitching distance

Minors AA

  • For players league ages 7-9
  • Instructional program that build on the fundamentals learned in minor A ball
  • "Kid pitched"
  • Allow less experienced players an opportunity to gain more experience before advancing to the next level of the minor division
  • Played on a 60′ diamond with a 46′ pitching distance

Minors AAA

  • For players league ages 8-11
  • Instructional program that build on the fundamentals learned in minor AA ball
  • Allow less experienced players an opportunity to gain more experience before advancing to the major (aka Little League) division
  • Played on a 60′ diamond with a 46′ pitching distance

Majors (aka Little League)

  • For players league ages 10-12
  • Continue to build on the fundamentals learned in the Minor Division.
  • Once a player is placed on a major team, they cannot go back to the Minor Division and are considered property players.
  • Property player can be released from a team is they submit a letter of request prior to the scheduled tryouts
  • Played on a 60′ diamond with a 46′ pitching distance
  • The game is regulation after 4 innings or 3 ½ if the home team is ahead

Intermediate (50/70)

(District 24 run program - Not all games will be played at Shamel Park; Teams will travel to other leagues within the District)

  • For players league ages 12-13
  • The players will be permitted to play in both Major and 50/70 divisions at the same time during the Regular Season
  • Leading off & pick-off attempts are allowed
  • The Intermediate (50/70) Baseball Division game consists of 7 innings.
  • The game is regulation after 5 innings or 4 ½ if the home team is ahead

Juniors 

(Subject to enough pre-registration interest and/or combined play with another league in our District)
(District 24 run program - No games will be played at Shamel Park; Teams will travel to other leagues within the District)

  • For players league ages 13-14
  • Field dimensions are 60' & 90'
  • Leading off & pick-off attempts are allowed
  • The Junior Baseball Division game consists of 7 innings.
  • The game is regulation after 5 innings or 4 ½ if the home team is ahead

Seniors

(Subject to enough pre-registration interest and/or combined play with another league in our District)
(District 24 run program - No games will be played at Shamel Park; Teams will travel to other leagues within the District)

  • For players league ages 14-16
  • Field dimensions are 60' & 90'
  • Leading off & pick-off attempts are allowed
  • The Senior Baseball Division game consists of 7 innings.
  • The game is regulation after 5 innings or 4 ½ if the home team is ahead

(In-house program playing with other T-ball teams from the baseball division)

- The fielding of a team(s) depends on the number of players registered

Minor

(District 24 run program - Not all games will be played at Shamel Park; Teams will travel to other leagues within the District)
- For players league age (8-11)
- Players league age 8 with at least 1 season of Farm may also register for this division
- There is no guarantee placement on a Minor team for players league age 8
- The fielding of a team(s) depends on the number of players registered

Major

(Not being offered for 2018)
(District 24 run program - Not all games will be played at Shamel Park; Teams will travel to other leagues within the District)
- For players league age (9-12)
- Players league age 9 with at least 1 season of Minor may also register for this division

Challenger

For players ages 4-22, or who remain in school, with physical or mental disabilities are encouraged to participate.
Boys and girls with physical and developmental challenges who just want to play in an organized game of baseball
